Dr. Nir Trabelsi is a senior lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SCE- Shamoon College of Engineering since 2011. He has Ph.D. from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. His thesis topic: Mechanical response of the proximal femur - Finite element analyses validated by experimental observations. Advisor: Prof. Yosibash, Z
Dr. Nir Trabelsi is a specialist in computational bone biomechanics, strength of materials, Product design, CAD and finite element analysis. He has published more than ten peer-reviewed papers in international journals and delivered invited lectures at international conferences. Dr. Trabelsi is the head of the Center for Thermo-Mechanics and Failure of Materials – (CTMFM) at SCE College
