ד"ר אירית יובילר

Dr. Irit Juwiler was born in Beer Sheva, Israel, in 1971. Dr. Juwiler received her B.Sc. degrees in Physics and in Materials Engineering in 1995 and M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computers in 1998 from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. In 2004 she received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering-Physical Electronics from Tel-Aviv University. Between 2000 and 2002 Dr. Juwiler was granted a scholarship for outstanding Ph.D. students in the field of high technology from Tel-Aviv University. She was a researcher of laser diodes performance for a startup company named IMPALA Ltd. and an external lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Departments of Afeka College, Ruppin College and Ariel University. In 2007 Dr. Juwiler joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sami Shamoon College of Engineering (SCE). In 2012 she became the head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, campus Ashdod SCE. Dr. Juwiler is a partner for scientific research in the Department of Electro-Optics, Soreq Nuclear Research Center and in the Department of Electrical Engineering-Physical Electronics, Tel-Aviv University. Dr. Juwiler is a Fellow Member of the Optical Society of America (OSA) and of the Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in Israel (SEEEI). Her research in the last years is in the areas of nonlinear optics and nano-photonics
