Adi Katz is a senior lecturer and head of the Information Systems track in the Industrial Engineering and Management Department at Ashdod Campus of Shamoon College of Engineering (SCE). Her areas of specialty are Human Computer Interactions (HCI), and database modeling. Adi had received her B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) in Behavioral Sciences and her M.BA. (Summa Cum Laude) in Business Administration at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. She had received her PhD in Business Administration at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Her main research interests include: human-computer interactions, IT aesthetics, computer-mediated communication (CMC), metaphoric interface design, affective (emotional) and cognitive aspects of interface design, and databases semantic data modeling. Adi is the head of the IRB (Institutional Review Board) at SCE
