My name is Anna Shkolnick. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1973. In 1990, after finishing high school, I repatriated to Israel. I received my B.A. degree in English literature from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 1994 and my M.A. in English literature from Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1997. I also received an M.A. in French literature from Hebrew University in 1999. I began my studies for a Ph.D. degree in English literature at Tel Aviv University in 2011, and I currently continue working on my thesis. My professional experience in teaching English language skills in higher education has been gained in the English for Academic Purposes Unit of SCE – Sami Shamoon College of Engineering, where I started working as a part-time lecturer in 2000.
