ד"ר גדליה מזור
Dr. Mazor Received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, in the field of Fluid Mechanics (Shock Waves Reflections), from Ben Gurion University, Israel
He completed his Post-Doctorate studies (P.D.) in cooperation with the prestigious Ernst Mach (Germany), and Institute of Fluid Sciences at University of Tokyo Japan
His research achievements, during that time, earned great praise and 6 merit awards, including prestigious "Wolf Foundation Award" for solving the "Von Newman Paradox"
Dr. Mazor published so far 43 papers (29 peer review papers and chapters in collective volumes and 14 papers in conferences proceedings) and registered 3 worldwide patents. He also developed and wrote three new Engineering programs for B.Sc. degrees and two additional curriculums within the "Atidim Military Project". Some of his publications opened new aspects of research in their areas, and have been used and cited
Dr. Mazor had the privilege to found the Mechanical Engineering department, and headed it, since 2006
Dr. Mazor holds (since 2004) the following key academic roles at SCE
Dean of Mechanical Engineering and Physics Departments
Board Member, SCE's Academic Council
Head, Research Center for Energy and Numerical Simulations
Head, Mechanical Engineering Department at SCE
Senior Consultant in Mechanical Engineering Ministry of Industry Trade, Israel: Registration & Licensing of Engineering & Architectures
Head, Physics Department at SCE
Head, Pre-Academic studies at SCE
