ד"ר ילנה אבן-סימקין
Dr. Even-Simkin is a lecturer, a researcher and the author of about 30 scientific publications: academic articles, book chapters, books and encyclopedic entries. She received her Ph.D. in 2012 at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which was honored with Summa cum Laude. She is a linguist and a diagnostician with the background in neuroscience, psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Her main areas of research interests go from linguistics, discourse and text analysis to education, ESL teaching, language disorders, language acquisition in neuro-typical population and in population with ASD and SLI. She is a member of Brain and Language Lab at the Bar-Ilan University and a member of International Society for the Linguistics of English(ISLE), Columbia School Linguistics Society(CSLS) and International Clinical Phonetics and Linguistics Association (ICPLA)
