Dr. Vladislav Kholmer works as lecturer ( from 2004 - as senior lecturer) in the Civil Engineering department of Sami Shamoon College of Engineering from 1997
Currently he teaches courses " Introduction to Engineering Mechanics" and "Strength of Materials" for B.Sc. program students
Dr. Vladislav Kholmer has been involved in research activities in the following areas:
Efficiency and safety of motor vehicles - ensuring the required extent of maneuverability for three-element tractor-trailer combinations, investigation of various aspects of interaction of such kind of motor vehicles with the environment for city area, motor vehicle overall sizes effect upon the road safety
Energy saving technologies - research for evaluating the effect of oxygenates additives in motor fuel on the exhaust gas toxicity and motor vehicle fuel efficiency, improvement of motor fuel component compound
Atomzation and sprays study -research of gas-dissolved gasoline atomization – high quality gasoline spray by CO2 - dissolved mixture
Waste water treatment technologies - investigation of vibration field effect upon gas-liquid interaction – mass and heat transfer in multiphase flows
