Dr. Orly Hakimi is a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SCE- Shamoon College of Engineering since 2011. In addition, she is an academic coordinator of Manufacturing Technologies and Material science courses and laboratories, an academic consultant of Mechanical engineering's students and a member of the mechanical engineering department's conferences committee

Orly has Ph.D. in Material Engineering from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Dissertation title: "Development of biodegradable implants using rapidly solidified magnesium alloys". Advisor: Prof. Aghion Eli
