About to complete your degree? Not sure how to translate it into a successful career?
The Sami Shamoon College of Engineering (SCE) has set up a career guidance office geared especially to help you improve your skills in job hunting and successfully introducing yourself to potential employers.
When you enter the labor market, you'll want to look for the type of job best suited to your education and abilities. The career guidance office invites you to schedule a meeting so we can help you:
· write your CV (curriculum vitae) .
· prepare for job interviews.
· develop job hunting strategies.
· orientate your career.
The career planning unit was established to help SCE students and graduates integrate into the labor market during all stages of their studies and careers. The office is part of the college's larger program of student assistance.
The office provides a wide range of services to students and graduates: job openings at various levels, "searchlight meetings" where employers speak with prospective workers on one to one basis, an annual job fair, assistance in writing CVs and preparing for job interviews, career training workshops, and the list goes on.
The career planning unit maintains ongoing contacts with a large number of companies in order to give students and graduates a maximum range of job offers.
Employers interested in more information are invited to contact us by phone or email.
We are here to provide SCE students and graduates with job consultation and career guidance, and look forward to hearing from you.
