The goal is to provide software engineers with proficiency in algorithms, systems analysis, testing and reliability, and train them in analytical thinking for designing custom-made, user-friendly software products.
Building a software product is similar to bringing out a new car. The car has to serve the customer needs, both ergonomically and operationally. Similarly, the software product has to be user-friendly (graphic interfaced) and based on computer sciences, math and engineering.
