The aim of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (EIC) is to provide students and faculty with the opportunity to launch initiatives and play a leading role in advancing technological enterprises.
The center offers counseling and support services for technological ideas, and cements ties between academia and industry. EIC serves as a springboard for original and creative projects, affording networking opportunities, granting resources for novel ventures, and assisting students in developing their entrepreneurial and innovative skills.
The center’s mission:
· Training students in technological entrepreneurship (the Engineer-Entrepreneur Program).
· Individual business coaching for outstanding projects. Target audiences: students, graduates, faculty.
· Technological entrepreneurship research.
· Business counseling and support of commercial projects.
The EIC team supplies content, context, and contacts for planning and launching advanced-technology based ventures. We provide SCE students, faculty and alumni with a host of instructional programs, network layouts, laboratories, and human and financial resources.
